Washington, D.C. – Police have arrested two more teenagers in connection with the murder of a man in Northwest, D.C.
On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at approximately 12:54 a.m., officers responded to the 6200 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest, for a report of a man down. Upon arrival, officers found 64-year-old Reggie Brown of Northwest, DC, who had suffered trauma consistent with an assault and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide caused by blunt force trauma.
Previously, on March 28, a 13-year-old female was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder. The next day, another 13-year-old female and a 12-year-old female were also arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.
On July 18, 2024, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a 13-year-old female and a 15-year-old female, both from Northwest, DC, under D.C. Superior Court custody orders. They were charged with Second Degree Murder at the Homicide Branch.
