Fatal Adelanto pedestrian accident death of Paul J. Ceniceros – Obituary
Authorities have identified 60-year-old Paul J. Ceniceros of Adelanto as the victim of a deadly pedestrian accident on February 25, 2025.
The collision occurred around 7:07 p.m. on Palmdale Road, just west of Bellflower Street. Ceniceros was crossing the roadway when he was struck by a full-size pickup truck traveling west. The driver, unaware at first that they had hit someone, returned to the scene after realizing the situation.
In an attempt to prevent further accidents, the driver used their vehicle to block traffic and protect Ceniceros. However, multiple other vehicles struck him, and none of those drivers stopped or returned.
The Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station is actively searching for the other vehicles involved. Investigators are particularly interested in speaking with drivers who may have unknowingly hit something in the road without realizing it was a person.
