Ann Hamer Obituary, Death; – A 71-year-old woman lost her life in a collision in Dillon County on Wednesday, which also resulted in injuries to another individual, as reported by Coroner Donnie Grimsley.
The deceased, Ann Hamer, resided in Dillon County. The incident occurred around 5:20 p.m. on Pee Dee Church Road, close to Lester Road, approximately five miles from Dillon, according to Grimsley.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol indicated that a 2009 Toyota Scion, traveling westbound on Pee Dee Church Road, was struck by a 2010 Nissan Sentra that had crossed into oncoming traffic.
Authorities confirmed that Hamer was pronounced dead at the scene. The injured party was transported to McLeod Regional Medical Center, although their current condition has not been disclosed.
