Timm Rudolph Obituary, Death; – The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office has reported that a woman has been charged with being an accessory after the fact for refusing to allow her young niece to speak with detectives investigating the fatal shooting of the child’s father.
Lakenya Wallace, aged 48, has been the legal guardian of the four-year-old since her cousin, who is also the child’s mother, was charged with second-degree murder in December.
According to investigators, Tiffany Baldwin, 38, fatally shot Timm Rudolph, 58, in the head at a campground in Lakeland on December 18, an event witnessed by the couple’s four-year-old daughter.
A week following Rudolph’s death, Baldwin and her daughter were located at Wallace’s residence in Earle, Arkansas. The complaint affidavit indicates that the child remained in Wallace’s care. Detectives arranged for a forensic interview and counseling for the girl at the Memphis Child Advocacy Center; however, Wallace failed to attend. Law enforcement stated that Wallace repeatedly informed them that she would not permit the child to communicate with investigators.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office asserted that Wallace was deliberately obstructing their investigation in an effort to shield Tiffany Baldwin from conviction. It remains uncertain who currently holds custody of the four-year-old. Wallace is being held on a bond of $150,000, while Baldwin’s bond has been set at $1 million.
