Round Rock Suicide — The Round Rock High School community is grieving the unexpected loss of a student this week.
In a message to parents, Round Rock Independent School District (RRISD) acknowledged the student’s passing, attributing it to personal mental health struggles. The district emphasized its commitment to supporting students during this difficult time.
To assist those affected, RRISD has made counselors available on campus at 201 Deep Wood Drive. The district encourages students and families to utilize these resources and to reach out for support as needed.
RRISD also offers an anonymous reporting system, allowing students and parents to report concerns confidentially related to mental health, bullying, or other urgent issues. This tool is part of the district’s broader efforts to ensure student safety and well-being.
The district reminds the community that if someone is in crisis, immediate help is available by calling 911 or the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988. As the school community processes this loss, RRISD remains dedicated to providing support and resources to students and families.
