With the average college tuition almost $20,000 a year and private schools averaging $40,000, every parent and student wants the most for their education dollar.
A new list was just released of the highest paying college majors, with many of them paying over $100,000 after a few years.
Chemical engineering and computer science top the list, averaging $80,000 by the time you are 25-years-old.
Next comes electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering, which are around $75,000.
Finance and physics degree bring in $70,000, and mathematics and nursing pay $65,000 after the first few years.
Early childhood education, foreign languages, and theater and performing arts top the list of lowest paying majors at age 25.
