Information released on March 27th, 2025, tells us that back in 2021, police submitted Baby Wyatt’s DNA to Othram, a lab in Texas. The results determined Baby Wyatt was of 89% African ancestry. Investigators used that information and followed other genetic leads, even out of state. But, around five years later, they still don’t know what happened to Baby Wyatt or who he is. . Located March 26th, 2020. Oak Ridge, TN (Anderson County) Baby Wyatt was a newborn Male infant, 20” long and 7lbs. The umbilical cord was still attached. His little body was discovered in Melton Hill Lake by fishermen. A shirt was wrapped around his head. His face was recognizable at the time of discovery.
The cause of death appears to have been ruled as drowning. He is estimated to have been around 34 weeks gestational age, making him near-term. He had some birth-related trauma to the right side of his head. Do we have any missing pregnant women from this time period? Do you possibly know someone who was far along in pregnancy that didn’t have a baby? His Mother could have been local, but it is also possible that she was from out of town or state. Please help. Your thoughts and ideas are all appreciated.
