LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Lean Cuisine and Stouffer’s issued a voluntary recall of some frozen meals because they could contain “foreign material.”
In a news release, Nestlé USA said recall affects Lean Cuisine’s Butternut Squash Ravioli, Spinach Artichoke Ravioli and Lemon Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry — along with Stouffer’s party size Chicken Lasagna.
The affected products were made between August 2024 and March 2025 and were distributed across the country. Batch codes of the meals are on the side of the packaging. To see the codes and best before dates, click here. The recall doesn’t involve any other Lean Cuisine or Stouffer’s products.
The company said some consumers filed reports including one potential choking incident.
Consumers are being told not to prepare or consume the product and should return it to the retailer where it was purchased for a replacement or a full refund. For additional information, contact Nestlé USA at 800-681-1676 Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST.
The company said it is investigating the source of the wood-like material, and it is confident that this is an isolated issue, and it is addressing it.
