MONTROSE, SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man has been charged with 12 counts of rape of a child, according to state police.
State police report they have filed the following charges against Ernest Thomas Labarr, 64, of Montrose, following an investigation into child sex abuse allegations;
- 12 counts of rape of a child
- 12 counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years old
- 12 counts of statutory sexual assault (offender 11 years older than victim)
- 12 counts of aggravated indecent assault of a child
- 12 counts of indecent assault (person less than 13 years old)
- 12 counts of indecent exposure
As stated in the affidavit, Labarr admitted to sexually assaulting the victim at least 12 times over a year.
