Jhoser Sanchez, a 20-year-old motorcyclist, lost his life in a crash involving an off-duty Washington State Patrol officer on Saturday night in Richland.
Authorities reported that Sarah Clasen, 35, a public information officer for the Washington State Patrol, was driving west on State Route 240 around 7:30 p.m. when she attempted to turn left onto Village Parkway. Sanchez was traveling east on SR-240 when Clasen’s SUV turned in front of his motorcycle, leading to the collision.
