Portland police have identified the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred in the city’s Piedmont neighborhood on March 3, 2025.
Brandon J. Sotelo, 29, from Portland, was fatally shot and later confirmed to have died from a gunshot wound by the Medical Examiner.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 8100 block of Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard just after 11 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Sotelo suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made as of now, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
