Domingo Rios Obituary, Death; – The Texas Department of Public Safety has confirmed the identity of a motorcyclist who tragically lost his life in a collision on Wednesday afternoon in Howard County as 76-year-old Domingo Rios from Big Spring.
As detailed in a crash report, at approximately 3:46 p.m. on March 5, law enforcement officers responded to the vicinity of US 87 and Driver Road to examine the incident involving a motorcycle. Investigators revealed that Kenneth Leatherwood, a 23-year-old resident of Snyder, was driving a Dodge Ram 2500 southwest in the turning lane on South US Highway 87. He failed to yield the right of way to Domingo while executing a left turn.
Domingo, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident, was transported to a local hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Dodge Ram did not sustain any injuries.
