PITTSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — After a month-long investigation police say they shut down a drug apartment and arrested a man for selling various narcotics.
During February, Pittston City’s Special Investigation Unit said they started a narcotics investigation for 44-year-old Alonzo Poole, of Pittston, who is accused of selling various drugs.
The investigation alleged that Poole sold fentanyl and cocaine throughout the City of Pittston and neighboring communities. Police stated multiple purchases of cocaine and fentanyl were made leading to a search warrant served on two apartments at Riverview Manor.
Officers say they seized several amounts of fentanyl and cocaine along with packaging material, from inside of apartment nine.
Poole was arrested on the charge of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance. He was taken to jail on a $150,000 monetary bail.
