WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two men have been sentenced for a shooting that killed a 22-year-old man in Wilkes-Barre in January of 2023.
Yua-mir Grayson and Kadeen Carruth have been charged with third-degree murder and illegal possession of a firearm.
A third person that was charged, Breanna Knight, pled guilty to conspiracy to commit murder back in January of 2023.
She has not yet been sentenced.
Police say they were responding to shots being fired in the area of Coal Street and Logan Court, where they found Elijah Rivers with a gunshot wound who later died because of the injuries.
