SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — In an annual tradition for more than 35 years, Scranton announced green traffic lines will be painted for the upcoming Saint Patrick’s Parade.
Authorities say the Department of Public Works (DPW) of the City of Scranton will paint green traffic lines along the route of the annual Saint Patrick’s Parade at about 12:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The painting will begin at the intersection of Wyoming Avenue and Mulburry Street, continuing down Wyoming Avenue, then turning left onto Lackawanna Avenue past the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel, followed by turning left onto Biden Street.
After turning onto Biden Street, the painting of the roads will continue turning right onto North Washington Avenue and ending at Vine Street.
