Jesse Canada Obituary, Death; – A man has lost his life following a collision with a vehicle, as reported by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
Shortly after 7 p.m. on Monday, deputies were dispatched to the 1700 block of Lewisburg Road to investigate an incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian that resulted in injuries, according to an official statement.
Upon their arrival, deputies found an unresponsive male individual situated off the roadway. An orange Jeep, which had sustained damage to its driver’s side and front bumper, was located in the northbound lane, as indicated in the release.
The investigation revealed that the orange Jeep, driven by Donna Garrett, was heading southbound on Lewisburg Road when it collided with a male pedestrian, later identified as Jesse Canada, who was walking on the road.
Logan County EMS pronounced Canada dead at the scene. Deputies concluded that Canada was either walking in the center of the roadway or attempting to cross the road at the moment of the incident.
