Antoine Mourning Obituary, Death; – A pedestrian who lost his life in a collision on Friday in the 5700 block of Georgia Avenue has been named by law enforcement officials.
On Tuesday, the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department confirmed that the victim of the tragic incident, which occurred at 6:45 p.m. on February 28, was 34-year-old Antoine Mourning.
According to the investigation conducted by KCKPD, Mourning was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on Georgia Avenue. Authorities reported that the driver remained at the location, and emergency responders pronounced Mourning deceased upon their arrival.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, as per KCKPD.
