GASTONIA, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Food Lion is recalling three varieties of their in-store ground beef from one of their Gastonia locations, according to a release sent on Saturday.
Officials say the select varieties of the in-store prepared ground beef may contain traces of “foreign material.”
The recall affects only the listed items from the store at 2211 N. New Hope Road in Gastonia, that were produced on March 1, 2025, after 1 p.m. with a Sell By Date of March 3, 2025.
The products include:
- 73% Lean Fresh Ground Beef (All Sizes)
- 80% Lean Fresh Ground Chuck (All Sizes)
- 93% Lean Fresh Ground Beef (All Sizes)
Anyone who purchased the listed products is asked to not consume them and return them to the Food Lion store for a refund equal to double the purchase price, per Food Lion’s “Double Your Money Back Guarantee”.
