CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Crews are actively battling two two-alarm fires, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
Around 11:10 a.m. on Sunday, crews responded to the first fire in the 5600 block of Glen Forest Drive in south Charlotte. The fire was in a fully involved two-car garage and a second alarm was quickly transmitted, officials said. Medic reported there were no injuries from this fire.
Less than an hour later, around 12 p.m., crews said they were responding to a fire in the 400 block of Michelle Linnea Drive in northeast Charlotte. Within five minutes, a second alarm was struck, CFD said.
It is still unclear what led to the fires.
