Fatal Shreveport I-20 pedestrian accident death of Promise Lee Loyd – Obituary
Promise Lee Loyd, 29, of Bossier City, tragically died after being struck by multiple vehicles while attempting to cross I-20 in Shreveport on February 23, 2025.
The incident occurred around 4 a.m. when Loyd was hit by a gray 2023 Kia Forte while crossing the westbound lanes near mile marker 14.
Despite efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities believe he was crossing from south to north when he was struck, and the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
