Michael Shroat Obituary, Death;- The Ohio State Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into a deadly accident that occurred on Friday afternoon in Union County.
According to officials, an SUV failed to stop at a stop sign located at the intersection of State Route 347 and Lunda Road at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Friday, colliding with another vehicle.
The driver of the SUV, identified as 55-year-old Michael Shroat, was declared deceased at the scene. The other driver was transported to Union County Memorial Hospital in serious condition. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
