Fatal East Brunswick pedestrian accident death of Margarito Jorge Garcia – Obituary
Margarito Jorge Garcia, a 57-year-old resident of East Brunswick, tragically lost his life after being struck by a vehicle around midnight on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. The incident occurred on Route 18 North, near the intersection of Woodland Drive. The East Brunswick Police Department later identified Garcia as the pedestrian involved.
Officers arrived on the scene to find Garcia critically injured. He was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to a nearby medical facility.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was not charged with any offenses. The investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the East Brunswick Police Department’s Traffic Safety Section.
