Cornell Demonte Pope Obituary, Death; – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the identity of a man who was fatally shot during an attempted robbery.
Cornell Demonte Pope, aged 30, passed away on Thursday. The Medical Examiner’s office established that the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head, and the manner of death has been classified as homicide.
According to the San Antonio police, Demonte was engaged in a robbery attempt alongside another individual on Sunday, February 23, when a security guard at the establishment shot him.
Initially, police reported that the second suspect had been apprehended; however, they later clarified on Friday that this individual remains at large.
