Fatal Harnett County multi-car crash death of Chris Shaw and Logan Wood – Obituary
Two individuals, Chris Shaw and Logan Wood, lost their lives in a tragic multi-vehicle collision in Harnett County on February 26, 2025. The crash occurred just after 11 a.m. on US Highway 421, near Willie Cameron Road, involving a total of three vehicles.
According to state troopers, a GMC Terrain collided with a Ford Focus that had been stopped, pushing the Focus into the path of a Toyota RAV4, which then T-boned the car. Shaw and Wood, both passengers in the Ford, were declared dead at the scene. Two other people, including the driver of the GMC, were transported to a hospital for treatment, along with one individual from the Toyota.
The driver of the GMC is facing charges related to the crash. Shaw and Wood were identified as employees of Fuquay Guns and Gold, with the business expressing sorrow over the loss of their “well-loved members” on social media. This incident marked the third deadly crash in the county within just four days.
