MOOSIC, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A fire damaged a motel behind Terry’s Diner on Thursday night.
According to Lackawanna County Communications Center crews responded to a reported structure fire on the 4100 block of Birney Avenue just before 9:00 p.m.
Officials say they are not aware of any injuries from the fire
Officials on-scene say the fire was contained quickly.
Crews from both Lackawanna and Luzerne County responded to the scene.
Greenwood Fire Department in Moosic headed the response on-scene.
It is unknown at this time what caused the fire.
