Daniel Pfeiffer Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified the individual who tragically lost his life early Thursday morning in a collision with a semi-truck that was reversing a trailer onto a road in Washington County.
The incident was reported shortly before 4 a.m. on Bald Peak Road at the intersection with Southwest Elsinore Lane. According to deputies, Daniel Pfeiffer, a 62-year-old resident of Newberg, was traveling eastbound on Bald Peak Road when he collided with a semi-truck that was backing west onto Elsinore Lane.
Pfeiffer was declared dead at the scene. Investigators looking into the crash have indicated that impairment does not appear to have played a role in the incident.
