Steven Tyler Williams Obituary, Death;- A man who lost his life in a single-vehicle accident early Monday morning in south Sacramento County has been named.
Steven Tyler Williams, a 22-year-old resident of Galt, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash that occurred around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Bruceville and Desmond roads, approximately two miles from the southern boundary of Sacramento County, as reported by the coroner’s office.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Williams was operating a 1982 BMW traveling east on Desmond Road when, for reasons yet to be determined, he applied the brakes, veered off the roadway, and collided with a metal gate near Bruceville Road.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that he was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Authorities indicated that excessive speed and the absence of a seatbelt are believed to be contributing factors in the incident.
