Fatal Carson City rollover crash death of Nathan Medina – Obituary
Nathan Medina, 47, of Dayton, lost his life in a rollover crash on U.S. 50 at Deer Run Road on Monday night. The accident occurred just after 7:30 p.m., according to the Nevada State Police.
Authorities report that Medina was driving a 2003 Toyota Highlander eastbound on U.S. 50 in the same lane as a 2015 Ford F750. Medina’s vehicle failed to slow down in time, striking the rear of the Ford, which caused the Toyota to spin and roll over.
Medina was ejected from the SUV as he was not wearing a seatbelt. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported in the crash.
All individuals involved remained at the location and are cooperating with investigators. Nevada Highway Patrol is requesting any witnesses to come forward with information by calling (775) 687-9600.
