TUNKHANNOCK TWP., WYOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — An owl was saved after being hit by a vehicle and getting stuck inside the grill.
According to the Tunkhannock Township Police, officers were called to the area of DD Diner on State Route 6 for an owl hit by a vehicle and still alive.
When police arrived, the owl had been cut out of the grill of the vehicle and secured in a box. Officers secured the injured owl in their patrol vehicle until it was turned over to the PA Game Commission.


Tunkhannock Township Police hopes that the injured owl can be rehabilitated.
