Dave Raymond Sewell NJ Car Accident: In Loving Memory of Dave Raymond Dies After Fatal Harrison Township Accident; Loved Ones Mourns
A tragic crash involving a dump truck and a sedan claimed the life of one person early Tuesday morning, officials said.
The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Ellis Mill Road and Clems Run. Authorities identified the victim as 44-year-old David J. Raymond Jr. of Sewell, who was driving a 2021 Tesla.
According to police, Raymond’s car veered into the opposite lane for an unknown reason, colliding with the front driver’s side of a 2007 Mack dump truck that was traveling southbound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The dump truck driver was evaluated on-site and released.
The impact of the crash led to a significant diesel-fuel spill, prompting response efforts from hazmat crews and firefighters. Road closures in the area lasted approximately four hours while cleanup and investigation took place.
