SOUTH ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Shady Lane Road in South Abington Township will be closed starting Wednesday.
Work on a box culvert replacement project is set to begin late Wednesday afternoon, meaning anybody who uses the road will have to take an alternate route.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation expects to have the road closed until approximately March 5, but they say the work is weather-dependent, so things can change.
