(WBRE/WYOU)— A Luzerne County man already doing time for murder and other charges has pleaded guilty to arson in Carbon County.
According to a release from Weatherly Police Department Roberto Torner entered a guilty plea to a 2016 fire of his own home, just days before the trial.
Several people who lived in the neighboring homes barely escaped the flames.
Torner is serving life in prison for the 2015 shooting death of 63-year-old Jose Herran in Foster Township.
