Burke County authorities are actively investigating the tragic shooting death of a local father, promising to keep the community informed as new developments arise.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning in the 800 block of Four Points Road near Waynesboro. According to the Burke County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 5:45 a.m. Upon arrival, they found 30-year-old Telvin “Telbo Rackins” Osborne in the master bedroom with a single gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities have confirmed that Osborne’s live-in girlfriend, 28-year-old Hannah Cobb, who is also the mother of his two children, is cooperating with the ongoing investigation. Details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting were initially withheld to allow time for family notifications.
