PLAINS TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Dozens of local music lovers are beefing up their record and CD collections. The Woodlands welcomed back the NEPA Scranton Wilkes-Barre LP Vinyl Record and CD Show.
Dealers from all over the northeast brought thousands of vinyl albums, 45’s, and CDs to sell.
Attendees could get their hands on music of just about any genre.
The event brings people together, regardless of what kind of music they like.
“That’s the coolness of it, I mean, there’s no arguments here. I mean I might not like your kind of music but I respect the fact that you like music, you know?” NEPA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Vinyl LP Record and CD Show organizer and promoter Jack Skutnik explained.
“There’s always new stuff. I never see the same thing twice, and I just love finding new music that I have never heard of before,” said Pittston Record Collector Michael Ruth.
The Vinyl and CD Show has been coming to the Woodlands twice a year for more than 30 years, and the next time you can catch the event is the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
