Than Oo Obituary, Death; – Omaha police have identified the individual who was fatally stabbed last week as a 24-year-old man named Than Oo.
Authorities reported that officers arrived at the location near North 60th Street and Ames Avenue on Wednesday evening, where they discovered Oo with multiple stab wounds. He was subsequently transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
According to the police, the incident stemmed from a confrontation between two individuals, resulting in one being stabbed.
Investigators apprehended the suspect, a 27-year-old man named Elijah Hinton, who is now facing charges of criminal homicide and the use of a weapon to commit a felony.
Hinton is set to appear in court on Monday. Additionally, officials have announced that a prayer walk in memory of Oo will take place on Thursday at the intersection of 22nd and Binney streets.
