SAINT CLAIR, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A heavy police presence shut down the Coal Creek Plaza and parts of Route 61 in Schuylkill County Sunday afternoon.
According to Schuylkill County Communications Center, a heavy police presence formed on the 500 block of Terry Rich Boulevard around 2:00 p.m.
Route 61 was shut down in both directions as the intersections of East Hancock Street and Darkwater Lane, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

It is unknown at this time the nature of the incident or if there are any injuries.
Authorities say it’s still an active scene.
