Jose Baca Romero, aged 63, was discovered deceased in the 28000 block of Pond Road on February 16, as reported by the Kern County Coroner’s Office. Medical examiners concluded that Romero had suffered a gunshot wound, classifying his death as a homicide. The specific date and time of the shooting remain undetermined. Romero was located last Sunday at approximately 1:24 p.m.
