Judy Hurley Obituary, Death; – A suspect has been apprehended in connection with the murder of an 80-year-old woman on Sauvie Island.
On February 17, authorities discovered a body concealed within a suitcase along the west bank of the Willamette River. The deceased has been identified as Judy Hurley, also known as ‘Judy Fivecoats,’ aged 80.
Investigators uncovered evidence that pointed to the suspect, identified as 54-year-old Michael Darwin Moody. Moody faces charges of second-degree murder along with other related offenses. He was taken into custody on February 20 at approximately 11:30 a.m. in an apartment located in the St. John’s neighborhood.
