Harmanjeet Singh Obituary, Death; – A resident of Nova Scotia has been confirmed by authorities in southwestern Wyoming as one of the three individuals who lost their lives in a multi-vehicle accident that occurred last week.
Harmanjeet Singh, aged 30, perished in the incident on Friday morning within a 360-meter tunnel on Interstate 80 in Green River. According to a news release from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, the collision involved a total of 10 passenger vehicles and 16 commercial vehicles.
Additionally, 18 individuals sustained injuries as a result of the crash. The incident led to a fire that resulted in the destruction of eight vehicles.
“Given the complexities surrounding this incident, off-scene investigations and crash reconstructions carried out by the Wyoming Highway Patrol are anticipated to take a considerable amount of time,” stated Col. Tim Cameron of the Wyoming Highway Patrol in the release.
“We appreciate the public’s patience as we thoroughly examine all evidence and strive to create a crash narrative and cause that is as precise as possible.” Authorities have indicated that the tunnel will remain closed for an extended period due to damage caused by the fire.
