With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Fernando Teixeira on February 16, 2025. A devoted husband, father, and friend, Fernando was the foundation of his family, always placing their well-being above all else. His kindness, warmth, and deep love for those around him will be profoundly missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
Fernando took immense pride in his Portuguese heritage, embracing his love for soccer, music, and dancing with boundless enthusiasm. Whether passionately cheering for his favorite team, Benfica, filling a space with music, or sharing a joyful dance, he had an incredible ability to spread happiness and bring people together.
His passion for Volkswagens went beyond a simple hobby—it was a lifelong love that evoked nostalgia and joy. He took great pleasure in restoring and admiring these classic vehicles, eagerly sharing his enthusiasm with fellow enthusiasts.
Above all, Fernando will be remembered for his boundless generosity and the kindness he extended to everyone he encountered. His welcoming nature and ability to make others feel valued left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Though he is no longer physically present, his spirit and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

- Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 429 Huntington Rd., Bridgeport.
- Interment: St. John’s Cemetery, 500 Moose Hill Rd., Monroe.
