WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — City police are investigating after a man was stabbed in the stomach in Wilkes-Barre Monday night.
Police say they were called to North Empire Court just after 10:30 p.m. for a report of a man who had been stabbed.
When they arrived, they found a 42-year-old man from Kingston with a single puncture wound to his abdomen.
Police say the man refused to provide any information about the incident.
He was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
