RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — After eight years leading the Tar Heel State, former governor Roy Cooper will be teaching at the country’s oldest institution of higher learning.
Cooper will spent eight weeks as a Menschel Senior Leadership Fellow at the T.H. Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University, the school said Thursday.
The school did not say when Cooper would be teaching at Harvard.
According to Harvard, the program allows people who served in “top-level positions in government, multilateral institutions, nonprofits, business, and journalism” to mentor and teach students who want to work in similar fields.
Cooper served as governor of North Carolina from 2017 to 2025.
