Timothy La Arrested; – Las Vegas authorities have apprehended an individual suspected of murdering his father in the southeast valley on Wednesday evening.
Officers responded to the scene in the 5300 block of Caprock Canyon at approximately 6:18 p.m., where they discovered an elderly man deceased. Initially, law enforcement suspected that the cause of death was natural; however, further examination revealed circumstances that raised suspicions.
Preliminary investigations indicated that the victim had sustained a gunshot wound while at home with his 35-year-old son, identified as Timothy La. Detectives concluded that La had shot his father and subsequently left the residence. La later returned to the property and was arrested on charges of murder.
