CONCORD, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Missing Endangered Alert has been issued for a 59-year-old man out of Concord.
Officials are looking for Jule Leslie Berisford, who is believed to have a cognitive impairment.
He is described as a six-foot-tall white man with short grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gold West Virginia University Mountaineers hooded sweatshirt with a black baseball hat with a ‘P’ in the front and blue jeans.
His wife last saw him at his residence on Oulten Street SW around 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2. She said he was planning to go to the Publix grocery store on Weddington Road but never returned. Berisford is believed to have taken a white 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe with the license plate ‘HBZ3525’.
According to Berisford’s family, he is diabetic and requires insulin and might become confused and disoriented at times.
