ROCK HILL, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The superintendent for Rock Hill Schools is stepping down this week.
Dr. Tommy Schmolze announced during Tuesday night’s school board meeting that he is retiring on Friday, Jan. 31. He has been with the district for over three years.
Dr. Schmolze says he’s proud of what the school district has accomplished in the past three years
Scmolze replaced former superintendent Bill Cook, who resigned just one week into the new school year.
