Sherri Everitt Obituary, Death; – A pedestrian was tragically killed while walking along a county road in the vicinity of Pendleton on Monday evening, as confirmed by law enforcement officials.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to a report of a vehicle colliding with a pedestrian in the 5500 block of South 100 West at approximately 6:45 p.m.
Investigators determined that a maroon Dodge Grand Caravan was traveling southbound on 100 West when it struck the pedestrian who was on the roadway.
The victim has been identified as Sherri Everitt, a 55-year-old resident of Pendleton. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
