LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Twin brothers from Lancaster County plead guilty to their involvement in a 2023 armed robbery of a vape shop, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
Evidence obtained through the investigation revealed that on July 31, 2023, Marterrious Tyresse Hannah and Jaimon Tywan Hannah, both 22, went to a vape shop to purchase a handgun from the store clerk, who knew the brothers.

During the sale, Jaimon brandished a handgun and robbed the clerk. While the brothers were inside the store, two other men entered and assisted in the robbery. The robbers stole a safe filled with money, cash from the store clerk, and vape products.
According to store surveillance video, at least two of the defendants were armed. The defendants also stole the firearm they came to purchase. That weapon was later recovered in North Carolina following an unrelated violent crime.

Marterrious pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit an armed robbery, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm during an armed robbery. Jaimon pleaded guilty to armed robbery. Both face a maximum of 20 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000, restitution, and five years of supervision upon release.
United States District Judge Mary Geiger Lewis accepted the guilty pleas and will sentence the defendants after receiving and reviewing a sentencing report prepared by the U.S. Probation Office.
