MONROE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Police are investigating a hit and run that left a man in critical condition, according to the Monroe Police Department.
Around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, an officer saw a man lying in the median of the 2200 block of W. Roosevelt Road. Police say a vehicle hit the man and fled the scene. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Officials say they are looking for a 2005-06 Toyota Tundra with a missing driver-side mirror and damage to the driver-side headlight.
