Santino Cardella Obituary, Death; – Nearly three years after his disappearance, the search for Santino Cardella has concluded in a heartbreaking manner. On Tuesday, the Colorado Springs Police Department announced that Cardella’s remains had been discovered, and his death is currently being treated as a homicide investigation.
Cardella was reported missing in April 2022. Throughout the investigation, detectives from CSPD gathered evidence suggesting that he may have fallen victim to foul play. Two years following his disappearance, authorities received a lead indicating that Cardella might have been interred in the Pueblo region.
“In October 2024, CSPD secured a search warrant for six parcels of land in Pueblo West. During the execution of this warrant, suspected human remains were found,” stated the police department.
These remains have been positively identified as belonging to Cardella. “While the El Paso County Coroner’s Office will ascertain the cause and manner of death, this case is being investigated as a homicide,” CSPD confirmed on Tuesday.
