NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KETK) — An episode of Amazon Prime television series “The College Tour” will feature Stephen F. Austin State University showcasing campus life told through students.
Each episode will highlight a different university, taking a look at academics, campus culture and student experiences.
“We are thrilled to be able to participate in ‘The College Tour’ and share the many parts of the campus experience that make SFA unique,” Senior Vice President of Enrollment and Student Engagement, Dr. Kent Willis said. “This award-winning show is a great opportunity to show prospective students what life as a Lumberjack is like.”
Students have been auditioning for one of the 10 available spots in the episode where they will be able to speak about their SFA experience.
“SFA’s episode will highlight the university’s state-of-the-art facilities, academic programs, one-of-a-kind traditions, involvement opportunities and thriving campus environment, with current students sharing their perspectives on life at the university,” SFA explained.
The episode will be filming on campus March 3 to March 7 and the SFA episode is set to premiere in the fall. The College Tour will be available for streaming on multiple platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Google TV, Niche and Nearpod. The episode will also be on ‘The College Tour’ app and website that is available to over 60,000 high school counselors nationwide.
